Gaming

We support the use of various online games and game consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo etc.) on our network. We wish to maintain a high level of satisfaction with online gaming whenever possible. If you are experiencing game latency or are unhappy with your general gaming experience please notify connect-it@uwo.ca and we will attempt to rectify the issue. However, remember that academics is our number one priority and we cannot give precedence to gaming.

Setting Up Your Game Console in Residence

Please note that game consoles are unable to connect to our wireless network and must connect to our wired service via Ethernet.

Before you can use a game console on our wired network, you must first register the wired MAC address of your console on the network.
