Sign Up for Connect-IT

How do I sign up for Connect-IT?

You may subscribe to our services by logging into myHousing and updating the Internet section of your online application.

After residence rooms have been assigned, you must contact the Housing Office at to subscribe to Connect-IT.

If you have subscribed to Connect-IT you will note a charge of $395 on your Student Center statement of account.

Bring a Network Cable!

We strongly encourage bringing a network cable, also known as an Ethernet cable, with you to residence. The length of the cable required varies by residence building. You must also bring the administrator password for your computer.

OK, I've signed up. What's next?

As a new student to Western you will need to activate your Western Identity before you arrive in September.

To do this go to the WTS Western Identity webpage at , click on the Activate your Western Identity link, then click on Activate your Western Identity - Student and Student Applicants.

You will require your Western Student Number as well as your Western Access Code which can be obtained here:

An Internet Connection Guide will be given to you when you collect your room key on move-in day.
