Get Access to Connect-IT

How do I access Connect-IT?

Connect-IT is included in a residence room charge. With access to Connect-IT, users can enjoy our-high speed wired internet connection in their residence bedroom, and a convenient wireless service throughout their residence building. More information can be found on our Internet Services support page.

Bring a Network Cable!

We strongly encourage bringing a network cable, also known as an Ethernet cable, with you to residence. The length of the cable required varies by residence building. You must also bring the administrator password for your computer.

OK, what's next?

As a new student to Western you will need to activate your Western Identity before you arrive in September.

To do this go to the WTS Western Identity webpage at , click on the Activate your Western Identity link, then click on Activate your Western Identity - Student and Student Applicants.

You will require your Western Student Number as well as your Western Access Code which can be obtained here:

An Internet Connection Guide will be given to you when you collect your room key on move-in day.
